 Lillian Snyder

Lillian holds a BA in political science from Hunter College in New York, an MA in Library Science from Catholic university in D.C. and an MA in public administration from the University of Maryland.  She taught English and Social studies in the New York public schools, and in Arbutus public schools.

After getting her Library Science degree Lillian joined Montgomery Public libraries. She was the Agency manager of both Germantown and Gaithersburg Regional Libraries. After initiating English conversation classes in the libraries, she moved on to teaching American idiom classes.  She has taught this class for the Gilchrist Immigration Center for the last 7 years in person and on zoom.
